Work has begun on Level 2 of Hector the Protector

I have finally begun work on the second level of Hector the Protector (pictured below).

The good thing about this is that my implementation of game mechanics that was set up for the first level will work for all subsequent levels. This will dramatically cut down upon the work I need to do to complete the game. I now just need to implement code for things that are specific to particular levels. Apart from that I also need to implement a menu screen, level loading and saving, and interstitial story screens between the levels. Whilst I still have a lot of work ahead of me I’m planning on having this game completed by June, or possibly July!
